Position Overview:
The Sr. Cloud Client Executive (CCE) with a Security Solution Architect focus is a consultative leader responsible for driving cloud transformation and cybersecurity strategy across enterprise clients. This hybrid role blends executive-level client engagement with deep technical acumen in security architecture, enabling the delivery of secure, scalable, and compliant cloud solutions across Azure, AWS, GCP, and hybrid environments.

This role requires 50% travel
Client Engagement & Strategy
- Serve as a trusted advisor to C-level stakeholders, translating business needs into secure cloud solutions.
- Lead strategic account planning and cloud adoption roadmaps with embedded security controls.
- Build and maintain executive relationships to drive long-term cloud and security transformation.
Security Architecture & Solutioning
- Architect end-to-end security solutions including Zero Trust, SOC, IAM, MDR/EDR, and cloud-native controls.
- Conduct risk assessments, threat modeling, and compliance gap analysis (e.g., NIST, ISO, HIPAA).
- Collaborate with pre-sales engineers and delivery teams to design and validate secure cloud architectures.
Sales Enablement & Execution
- Identify and qualify opportunities for cloud and security services, including managed services and assessments.
- Develop proposals, SOWs, and presentations that articulate business value and technical feasibility.
- Drive pipeline growth through targeted campaigns, OEM alignment, and partner ecosystem engagement.
Thought Leadership & Practice Development
- Stay current with emerging threats, technologies, and regulatory trends.
- Contribute to internal playbooks, solution catalogs, and enablement materials.
- Mentor junior team members and support cross-functional collaboration across security solutions.
What you will bring to the team:
- 8+ years in cloud and cybersecurity roles, with proven experience in enterprise solution architecture.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, AWS/Azure/GCP Architect, TOGAF, CEH, or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of cloud security frameworks, DevSecOps, and secure SDLC.
- Experience with SOC design, IAM, data protection, and compliance-driven environments.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Prior experience in a client-facing role within a technology distributor, MSP, or consulting firm would be preferred.
- Familiarity with Zones Marketplace, Avant portfolio, and partner funding programs helpful.
- Background in verticals such as healthcare, finance, or public sector is a plus.
Qualified candidates can expect a salary range of $120,000 - $150,000 + bonus.
